Position: Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ months (high possible extension)

Imp Notes to Screen Candidate: What challenges they faced while deploying in Kubernetes and how they mitigate those challenges . The answer should be based on their actual work, not a bookish one. They are looking for individuals with 4 to 8 years of overall experience, preferably those who have received an education from top universities in either India or the USA.

Must have:

• AWS, Kubernetes and Golang experience.
• REST API design experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job description:

We are looking for a Platform Infrastructure Automation engineer experienced in Golang, AWS, and Kubernetes to help build tooling that powers our platform.

You'll design automation services to simplify the provisioning of infrastructure, and the deployment of services.

You'll collaborate with engineering teams to build, test, and maintain robust data platforms at a massive scale.

Experience:

• 5+ YOE experience working on infrastructure and cloud systems.
• Direct experience in AWS (EKS, s3, RDS).
• Direct experience in operating and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Programming/ Scripting experience in Golang.
• Experience with IaC tools.
• Service operations experience (CI/CD, logging, monitoring, etc).

Nice to have:

Temporal experience

Echo (Golang) experience

Infrastructure As Code experience (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, etc)

Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting role
